Yakira Oudmayer

Hi! I’m Yakira, a fashion designer based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

I studied Fashion Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where I earned my B.F.A. and developed a strong foundation in apparel design, product development, and illustration.

I’m currently an Assistant Apparel Designer at Belk, where I design for Wonderly, one of Belk’s private-label brands. My work spans the product development process, from concepting and trend research to sketching, print and graphic development, line planning, and approving fabrics, trims, color, and artwork.

Throughout my career, I’ve also gained experience designing and developing product for brands including Free People, Lucky Brand, LOFT, Altar’d State, Francesca’s, Nordstrom Rack, American Eagle, and more.

I’m especially drawn to thoughtful, trend-aware design that feels fresh, relevant, and commercially appealing, and I’m constantly looking to fashion, art, culture, and the world around me for inspiration.
